These brothers are two of my very favourite little boys!  It was an absolute pleasure to photograph them today!  They love to have their pictures taken and they are great sports for anything I suggest!!! 

My Old Kentucky Home

I have fallen in love with Kentucky.  It truly is a photographers paradise!  There are unlimited treasures to be discovered, beauty to be captured, and places to explore!  This weekend was beautiful and the perfect weekend to have the top down on the Jeep, and be out exploring!  Below are photos from my weekend. Anxiously Waiting....??

I love this picture and I love this verse. It's a great reminder that God's in control of all seasons and all things in our lives.  I was on my way to work this morning and listening to Chip Ingram on Living On The Edge who said: 

"Your past is your key to perspective to knowing God's will for your future"

I love that!!! 

Quiet Places...

I'm at a time in my life where it seems that I'm in a "quiet place".  I think maybe that's why this verse spoke to me today and I thought this picture would be perfect for it. 

I'll be honest - I'm not a fan of quiet places, especially where my life is concerned.  So living alone in a new area has been a real challenge for me as I begin to set down new roots - my own roots.  


This past weekend I encountered answered prayers, and unexpected blessings, but I also found myself alone in a quiet place.  It was in this quiet place that I heard a little whisper, felt a wave of peace wash over me through the prayers of others, and felt the peaceful presence of the Lord.  

I'm learning that quiet places aren't periods of isolation....quiet places are times in our lives when we're able to hear the whispers of God.
